This month, we’ve been reminded again of just how strong and generous this community really is. From Lori and Gerry “Mitts” Eddings rolling up their sleeves to transform the front office, to Jerry “D-Day” Doubleday representing PHW-COS on a 7-day memorial ride honoring Gold Star Families, to Dennis Johnson and Linda Balestrieri launching a full Trip Cook Team program, folks continue to step up in ways that strengthen our mission and make others feel welcome. We also want to recognize Alan Boatz and Ken Willard as they transition out of formal leadership roles while continuing to serve with wisdom and heart. Big thanks as well to Scott “Marty” Martin, Kat Scharn, Jonathan Gabriel, and Pamela Wright for their leadership on recent trips and events.

We’ve welcomed new Volunteer Leads including Pamela Wright (Events), Doc Judy (Logistics), Amy Stockham (Program Engagement), Monty Montgomery (Education), and Matt Green (Social Media), with Dave Ross continuing in Fundraising. There are too many people to name who keep this program running week after week. If we missed you, please know it’s not because your work isn’t seen. Quite the opposite. From quiet gestures behind the scenes to casting instruction on the water, it all matters. We are incredibly grateful for every one of you.
